Lesson 3 The Tools of Astronomy - Study the nature and properties of light and discover how astronomers use this knowledge to gather information about distant objects. Different types of telescopes and their strengths and weaknesses are also explored.
Lesson 4 Formation of the Solar System - Study theories related to the formation of the solar system and explore the reasons for the size, location, and general composition of the planets.
Lesson 5 Tour of the Planets - Tour the planets of our solar system, compare and contrast physical properties of the planets, and explore the unique conditions required for life to exist.
Lesson 6 Natural Satellites and Space Debris - Explore meteors, comets, asteroids, and the moons of various planets.
Lesson 7 Properties of the Sun - Explore the different regions of the sun and the mechanism behind the nuclear reactions that drive the solar furnace.
