About Course

General Biology is a five-unit course designed as an introduction to the Life Sciences. These five units/modules represent the content of a semester of a high school general biology course.

These units/modules each represent several chapters in a traditional general biology textbook in terms of the content and concepts covered. I believe the units are much more dynamic than a textbook because they contain links to many authors who are updating their sites as you read this page.

Please go to each unit/module and read the opening pages to find out what will be covered over the course of this CyberClass. The units can be accessed by clicking on the Lessons link at the top or bottom of this page. Each module will have several lessons, and each lesson may have several activities for you to complete. Use the Calendar and Grades tools on the MyTools page to check your progress and monitor your records.
