ALWAYS READ THE VIDEO ASSIGNMENT BEFORE YOU BEGIN ANY UNIT. It is the longest, hardest part of each unit. It will require a lot of thought and practice. You will do much better, and learn much more, if you keep the video assignment in the back of your mind as you move through the other assignments. Vocabulary
for each unit Introductions/Lectures 2. You'll be tested on information found in the introductions. So, DON'T SKIP THEM! Workbook assignments 2. Each independent workbook assignment has a Submit button. Click it, and you'll be taken to an online worksheet related to the assignment. Comprehension checks Videos 2. Wear a dark, solid shirt during filming. Be sure that the camera frames you from head to waist throughout the video. Remove jewelry from your hands. Remove nail polish. Use a solid wall as a background. Don't film in front of a window. Points are awarded for following this protocol. 3. THE VIDEOS FOR THIS COURSE ACCOUNT FOR A MAJOR PART OF YOUR GRADE. Take these video projects seriously. Get them done, and turn them in at the end of each unit. If you choose to send in all three videos at once, you'll have points taken off the top, PLUS deductions for failure to improve. These videos are my opportunity to TEACH you by giving you feedback. If you send them all at once, you'll miss opportunities to learn. Final Exam
