Audience
Latin 2.1 is open to any student who has successfully completed Latin 1.1 and 1.2 or the equivalent.

Goals
The goal in translating the stories of Fabulae Faciles is simple. You, as the student, will learn how to read Latin. We will, of course, start with simple stories and gradually add knowledge and skills until you are translating real Latin. That will take a while. Along the way to understanding real Latin, you will increase your English vocabulary, see how Latin grammar fits English grammar, and learn a great deal about Greek and Roman mythology, art, history, and culture. Latin satisfies Oregon CIM/CAM requirements, and you do not have to know how to speak it. Latin also satisfies the PASS requirements to get into the Oregon University System.
