Teacher

Hello there! I'm Kendra Brott. I am a counselor by day, and an art teacher at night. I live in Eugene, Oregon, with my husband Patrick, our cats Jinx and Lucy, and new beagle puppy Karma.

I love to travel and have made it a goal to go to a new country every two years, or as many times as my pocketbook will allow. I recently led fourteen people to the treasures of Mexico, and am planning another school trip to Greece. I've been to France, Germany, Italy, Fiji, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, New Zealand, and Australia. Discovering what art looks like in its true environment is much more interesting than seeing it in books!

Ever since I could pick up a crayon, I've been doodling on whatever I could find...walls, Bibles, tables, etc. Sometimes it got me in trouble, but I guess that was just part of the fun! Teaching is embedded in my family, and so is the love of it. So, getting paid to do what I love isn't a hard thing to do.

I found I love dabbling in all mediums, but here are some of my works of art. The pieces below were created by me. Other examples can be found on my Web site. Art is an outlet of excess energy for me. My work doesn't belong in a gallery but would better fit book illustrations or a CD cover.
