POETRY - 6 WEEKS

• Meter & rhythm (Week 4)
• Poetic forms (Weeks 5 - 6)

SHORT STORY - 6 WEEKS

• Intro. to Short Story (Week 7)
• Story 1 (Week 8)
• Story 2 (Week 9)
• Story 3 (Week 10)
• Story 4 (Week 11)
• Short Story Final (Week 12)

NOVEL - 6 WEEKS. This section of the course requires that the student develop a workable timeline to finish in six weeks. I recommend doing the first four bullet items during week 13, the fifth bullet item while reading, and then beginning the book review in week 17.
